-x + y > 2 you need to isolate y on one side and to do that u add x on both sides then you get y > x + 2. the +2 is the y-intercept and the x (or 1x) is the slope. since y is bigger than x + 2 then the graph should cover everything above the slope 1x.

\geq it only covers numbers above that. otherwise it would be a solid line instead of a dotted one
