The women rigts' movement final goal was to granted the women with the right to vote. This was achieved through legal efforts/ activism alone. Abolishment of slavery on the other hand required United States to be in war with one another since the southern states wouldn't agree to abolish the slave otherwise.

The Abolitionist movement last around 40 years (between 1830 - 1870). Women rights movement lasted around 100 years (between 1817 - 1920). Even after 1920, women rights movement still continue pursuing other goals from the right to vote. (such as fair treatment in the work place)

Women were oppressed , but the severity of the situation for the slaves were much harsher compared to the women.
