x = 12

∠A = 144°

Explanation:

Because of the alternate exterior angles theorem, ∠A and ∠B are equal, so:

10x + 24 = 6x + 72

subtract 24 from both sides

10x = 6x + 48

subtract 6x from both sides

4x = 48

divide both sides by 4

x = 12

So ∠A is

10(12) + 24 = 120 + 24 = 144

∠A and ∠B are both 144, no need to do this to ∠B as like i said before, they are congruent, but just in case

6(12) + 72 = 72 + 72 = 144
