This is my letter to Continental Congress
Dear Sirs,
It is clear that is are turbulent moments in which the colonies call for unity.
These are times of war and we have to support the Continental Army troops and to support our citizens. Among these citizens, there is a group of people more vulnerable, and that requires special attention during this Revolutionary War: the marginalized groups.
I am particularly referring to women, children, Native American Indians, and black people.
Many women are losing their husbands on the battlefield. Children are unprotected when women leave to support our troops. Native American Indians have different approaches to this war, and some are supporting the British troops. Slaves in the south are a concern; southern landlords suspect they are plotting rebellion.
That is why I firmly ask this honorable Congress to be aware of these situations and take proper actions in order to control whatever situation that could come from these groups.
