Answer:

10.72

Explanation:

Yo yo bro! Alright! So what I would do would first be to find BH and BE.

Finding BE is really easy dude we already know BC=18

So BE would just be half of that dude so BE would be 9 bro.

Next up we need to find BH

BH is the same as HD so it would also be 14 dude.

Then lastly to get your answer man you use the Pythagorem thereom dude and plug everything in man.

So bro it would be EH = √( (14)^2-(9)^2 )

so then its 196-81

then you get 115 bro, then you find the square root of 115 which is 10.72

Answer:

  • 10.72

Explanation:

Given

  • H is the circumcenter of triangle BCD,
  • BC = 18
  • HD = 14

To find

  • Length of EH

Solution

  • Triangle BHD is isosceles, therefore BH = HD
  • Point E is midpoint of BC, therefore BE = 1/2BC

Using Pythagorean, finding the value of EH:

  • EH = √(BH² - BE²) = √(14² - (18/2)²) = √(196 - 81) = √115 = 10.72
