It was reported that uninsured drivers caused 1 in 20 accidents. About 682,494 car crashes were reported. About how many of these drivers were uninsured?

To solve the problem you have to take 682,494 and divide it be 20 because 1 in every 20 accidents are caused by that. So, if you divide that you will see what 1 in every 20 is so the equation would be 682,494 div by 20 which will give you 34,124.
