Answer: 6
If x=3 we first need to find the value of all the x’s is this equation starting with x to the power of two
3•3=9
now we add 3 to nine since it is directly next to it
3+9=12
for the divisor we have x-1
(3)-1=2
so now that we have all the values we simply divide
12/2=6

so first we need to substitute 3 into the expression
3^2 + 3 / 3 - 1
9 + 3 / 2
12 / 2 = 6
