A new health drink has 130% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for this vitamin. The RDA for this vitamin is 45 mg. How many milligrams of the vitamin are in the drink?

Answer: 58.5 mg

Explanation:

Given: Recommended daily allowance(RDA) for a certain vitamin = 45 mg

To find : Quantity of this vitamin in drink

Amount of vitamin new drink has = 130% of (RDA)

= (130% of 45) mg

= (1.3 x 45 mg [ To convert percentage to decimal , we divide a number by 100]

= 58.5 mg

Therefore, Quantity of vitamin in drink = 58.5 mg
