Thus:


slope (m) = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

Let,


(5, 16) = (x_1, y_1)


(7, 22) = (x_2, y_2)

Plug in the values


slope (m) = (22 - 16)/(7 - 5) = (6)/(2) = 3.

Slope of the line is 3.
