Use pythagorean theorem:

Does 3^2+4^2=5^2

The longest side is always the hypotenuse

9+16=25

25 does equal 25!!

3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2
9+16=25
25=25

yes this is a right triangle. i know this because when i use the pythagorean theorem it equals out.
