A ball is thrown up into the air. Describe the work done on the ball and the energy transformations that take place

between the time the ball is released and the time it reaches its maximum height.

The energy transformations that would take place is GE (Gravitational Energy) converting in KE (Kinetic Energy), if the ball hits the ground in the example EE (Elastic Energy) would be present as well.

Answer:

so if the ball is thrown up it will eventually fall right? so what it's asking is how hard and fast the ball is thrown and so the time is released it will go up, and by the time it reaches the maximum height it will fall.
