If the windows are not to be painted, what percent of the wall will be painted?

The area of the wall that is painted is 75%

How to get the area that is painted

The dimensions of the wall are 12 by 10 feet

The area of the wall would be

12 * 10

= 120

The measurement of the window is 3 by 5 feet

The area of the window will be

3 * 5

= 15 feet in square

since there are two windows, the total feet would be 15 + 15 = 30

Given that the windows are not painted the area remaining would be

120 - 30

= 90

The percentage painted would be

100 x 90/120

= 75%

Hence the area of the wall that is painted is 75%
