Convert -1/2 to -0.5
-0.5 X 2 = -1
- 0.5 X (-2x) = 1X
and 3.
Collect like terms.
-1 + 1x + 3
the -1 and 3 are both numbers so add them together.
-1 + 3 = 2
The answer is
1x +2
Or just
X+2
