Using the grid u could determine that the starting point, (-5.31, 1) would be in quadrant Q and the finishing point would be quadrant S. You are able to determine this by comparing the (X,Y) values given to those of the graphs. For example , the x value of the starting point is negative which only happens in quadrant Q.

Checkpoint (5.31, 1) is different from the startpoint or (-5.31, 1) because it is positive x which puts it on the other side in quadrant P.
