Answer:

Pierre de Coubertin is considered the father of the modern Olympic Games. He founded the modern games in Athens in 1896. Previous to this, the tradition had been dormant for almost 1500 years. The flag of the Olympic Games is five interconnected rings, coloured blue, black, yellow, red and green. They represent the union of the five continents which partake in the games. The colours of the five rings, along with the white background of the flag, mean that one of the colours shown on the flag can be seen in every country's flag in the world at the time of the Olympic flag's creation. The motto of the Olympic Games is citius, altius, fortius, meaning faster, higher, stronger. It encourages athletes to perform at the games to the best of their ability, and to strive to become faster, higher and stronger. In our life, we can take this motto and aspire to do our best in everything we do
