y=x+8

Explanation:

1. Use the slope formula to find slope

y2-y1/x2-x1

-12-5/-20--3

= -17/-17

= 1

2. Plug in the slope and of the coordinates into point-slope form

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-5=1(x+3)

3. Distribute and add 5 to both sides.

y-5=1x+3

y=1x+8
