move the x together and the numbers together

REMEMBER: when you move a something from one side of the equation (not including multiplication and division) to the other, change the sign in-front of it (+ or -)

NOW CONTINUE WITH THE PROBLEM -->

-3x-2x = -24 - 6

now subtract,

-5x = -30

and divide -30 by -5

Since there are 2 negative numbers, the result would be positive -->

and for x, you would get:

x=6
