Passage tombs are tombs made in the Neolithic period and are mostly found in Ireland, but usually in the north of the island. These burials are typically tended to contain grave goods like pieces of quartz, Carrowkeel ware, chalk balls, etc. Many passage tombs have been professionally excavated, but there are also still many that remain untouched for centuries, waiting to be discovered.
