The equation in simple terms is 3x+2=-2x+6. This is because there are 3 triangles with x in them and 2 squares with 1 in them on the left side, and 2 triangles with -x on the right side with 6 1's. If you don't know how to solve this I'd be happy to go in full depth: subtract 2 from 6, subtract -2x from 3x this will give you 5x=4 and then you divide 5 from for giving you 4/5 or 0.8.
