So add the radius to the equation.


{6}^(2) * 3.14

Solve for the equation.


36 * 3.14 \\ 113.04

Now that is the area of the entire circle, so all is needed is to divide that by 2.


113.04 / 2 \\ 56.52

Now you have the area of the semicircle.
