Hey there!

“3(a+b)+15-a+2b”

First DISTRIBUTE

3(a) + 3(b) + 15 - a + 2b

3(a) = 3a

3(b) = 3b

New EQUATION

3a + 3b + 15 - a + 2b

COMBINE your LIKE TERMS

(3a - a) + (3b + 2b) + (15)

~NOTE: “a” is understood as an invisible 1!~

(3a - 1a) = 2a

(3b + 2b) = 5b

(15) = 15

Therefore, your answer is: 2a + 5b + 15 ☑️

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
