Answer: D. Break the hydrogen bonds between nitrogen bases

Explanation: DNA helicase is suppose to break those hydrogen bonds between the nitrogenous bases so the surrounding, floating nitrogenous bases in the nucleus can attach to its complementary base. The DNA polymerase will then attach the nitrogenous bases together.
