Blake was listening to his favorite radio station. He noticed that 15 songs were played and 3 of them were by Justin Bieber in the hour he was listening.

13. What is the ratio of songs by Justin Bieber to the number of songs played?

14. Write this as a unit rate.

15. Suppose the station continues to play this ratio of songs. How many times will Blake hear songs by Justin Bieber in the next three hours?

Answer:

15 is 9 because the ratio is 3:15 in 1 hour, so you multiply by 3(hours) and you get 9

Explanation:

I apologise but I'm too rusty at the other questions to be able to answer them anywhere close to accurate D:

Answer:

13. 3/15 = 1/5

14. 1/5 (or 3 Bieber songs per hour)

15. 9

Explanation:

13. The requested ratio is ...

(3 Bieber songs)/(15 total songs) = 3/15 = 1/5

__

14. 1/5 is the "unit rate" for the ratio in problem 13. Its units are "Bieber songs per song played."

(IMO, this "unit rate" is pointless. For the purpose of problem 15, the applicable "unit rate" is Bieber songs per hour. That is 3 songs per hour.)

__

15. At a rate of 3 Bieber songs per hour, in 3 hours one might expect ...

(3 songs/hour)(3 hours) = 9 songs . . . . by Bieber
