PLZ HELP

Shellie and Carley are growing out their hair. They plan to cut it off and donate it to a charity that makes wigs for cancer
patients. Shellie's hair is currently 10 cm long and grows at a constant rate of 3 cm per month. Carley's hair is 20 cm long
and grows at a constant rate of 2 cm per month. The girls want to cut their hair when they have exactly the same length to
donate. Graph Shellie's and Carley's hair growth to determine if 40 months is a reasonable solution. Why or why not?

Answer: No, 40 months isn’t reasonable.

Explanation:

For Shellie: 40*3 = 120 cm in 40 months

For Carley: 40*2 = 80cm in 40 months

Next we add the amount of hair they have already to the amount of centimeters would grow.

Shellie: 120+10 = 130cm

Carley: 80+20 = 100cm

So if the girls wanted to cut their hair at the exact length, 40 months isn’t a reasonable solution.
