x = 2/3 , 0 .

Question :

{3x}^(2) - 2x = 0

use quadratic formula :

x = \frac{( - b)± \sqrt{ {b}^(2) - 4ac } }{2a}

Solution :

a {x}^(2) + bx + c = 0 \\ a = 3 \\ b = - 2 \\ c = 0

x = \frac{ - ( - 2)± \sqrt{ { (- 2)}^(2) - 4 * 3 * 0} }{2 * 3} \\ \\ x = (2± √(4 - 0) )/(6) \\ \\ x = (2± √(4) )/(6) \\ \\ x = (2± 2)/(6)

separate into two equations :

x = (2 + 2)/(6) = (4)/(6) = (2)/(3) .

x = (2 - 2)/(6) = (0)/(6) = 0.

the values of x are 2/3 and 0 .
