The width of a rectangle is 3/4 length. The perimeter is 252 cm. What is the width of the rectangle?

“The answer is C. Divide 252/2 to get one width plus one length. Then, divide by seven parts, 3 for the width and 4 for the length. It is 18. Multiply for 3 because of 3/4 and you get 54.“
