Kennedy School is taking the 6th grade students on a field trip to the zoo. There MUST be 1 teacher for every 11 students. There are a total of 48 people going on the field trip.

A: How much students are going?
B: How much teachers are going?
C: If 21 students fit on each bus, how many school buses do we need in order to get ALL of the people to the zoo?

Explanation:

A. 44 students are going because if you take 11 students and 1 teacher you multiply 11 by 4 and get 44 add 4 more 48 in total.

B. ^^^

C. Take 21 from 48 two times. You have 6 left over. So you ethier cram the 6 left over in there or get another bus.
