Hello,
Equation: x + 2y = 4
Step-by-step:
Move constant to left.
x + 2y - 4 = 4 - 4
The sum of opposites equal zero
x + 2y - 4 = 0
Explain: y cannot be by itself do to no alike variables
Answer: x + 2y - 4 = 0
