There are several differences between food in France and food in the United States. One difference is that meals are generally smaller, especially breakfast. This is mainly because the French believe in moderation. Another thing I found is that it is much rarer to eat fast food in France than in the United States. The number of times French people eat is also different, where - while they do eat three meals - they never snack between meals like many Americans would. Finally, the French place great importance on lunch and make it their biggest meal, whereas Americans tend to have a bigger dinner.
