Harold and his friend Bill each collect vintage action figures. Harold already has

18 action figures and adds 3 more figures to his collection each month. Bill
already has 24 action figures and adds 2 more to his collection each month. Let x
represent the number of months, and y represent the number of action figures.
Which equations can be used to find how long it will take before the friends each
have the same number of action figures?

Harold: y = 3x + 18

Bill: y = 2x+24
