Both are correct

Explanation:

All the sides of an equilateral triangle are equal. Hence;

Perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3S

S is one of the side length

Given;

S = 4n-2

Perimeter of the triangle = 3(4n-2)

This can also be expressed as P = S + S + S

P = (4n-2) + (4n-2) + (4n-2)

This shows that both methods are correct
