Given:

6x+3y=12

2x-6y=18

5x+2y=16

6x-8y=-24

To find:

The slope intercept form of each equation.

Solution:

We know that, slope intercept form of a line is

y=mx+b

where, m is slope and b is y-intercept.

The first equation is

6x+3y=12

Subtract 6x from both sides.

3y=12-6x

Divide both sides by 3.

y=(12-6x)/(3)

y=(12)/(3)-(6x)/(3)

y=4-2x

y=-2x+4

Therefore, the slope intercept form of first equation is
y=-2x+4.

Similarly,

2x-6y=18

-6y=18-2x

y=(18-2x)/(-6)

y=-3+(1)/(3)x

y=(1)/(3)x-3

Therefore, the slope intercept form of second equation is
y=(1)/(3)x-3.

5x+2y=16

2y=16-5x

y=(16-5x)/(2)

y=8-(5)/(2)x

y=-(5)/(2)x+8

Therefore, the slope intercept form of third equation is
y=-(5)/(2)x+8.

6x-8y=-24

-8y=-24-6x

y=(-24-6x)/(-8)

y=(-24)/(-8)-(6x)/(-8)

y=3+(3)/(4)x

y=(3)/(4)x+3

Therefore, the slope intercept form of fourth equation is
y=(3)/(4)x+3.
