7.45feet

Explanation:

The set up will give a right angled triangle

Height of the ladder is the hypotenuse = 7 feet

Angle of elevation= 70 degrees

Required

Distance up the building you will be able to reach (Length of the ladder) which is he hypotenuse

Using SOH in trigonometry identity;

Sin 70 = opposite/hypotenuse

Sin 70 = 7/hyp

hyp = 7/sin70

hyp = 7/0.9397

hyp = 7.45 feet

Hence the will be able to go 7.45feet
