Answer: Approximately 10.7 inches

=================================================

Work Shown:

x = 27.2 \text{ cm}\\\\x = 27.2 \text{ cm} * \frac{1 \text{ inch}}{2.54 \text{ cm}}\\\\x = (27.2)/(2.54) \text{ inch}\\\\x \approx 10.7086614 \text{ inches}\\\\x \approx 10.7 \text{ inches}\\\\

Effectively all we do is divide 27.2 over 2.54 to convert from cm to inches.

This means that 27.2 cm is roughly the same as 10.7 inches.

I rounded to one decimal place because 27.2 is to one decimal place. If your teacher says for you to round otherwise, then follow those instructions of course.
