The square of the first number is equal to the sum of the second number and 16. The difference of 4 times the second number and 1 is equal to
the first number multiplied by 7.

X=y+16

4y-1=7

Solve on both sides

4y=8

Y=8/2

Y=4

X= (4)+16

X=20
