Answer: 8C + 12T= 268

C + T = 30

Explanation:

Cashier: 8$/ hr

Tutor: 12$/hr

made $268 for 30 hours

C = # of hours for cashier

T= # of hours for tutor

*For these type of equations, keep $ with $ and quantity with quantity

So you would the 8/hr to 12/hr to equal the total money and add the quantity(in this equation c and t) with the total hours.
