When completing an online shopping transaction, a typical shopper takes 23 seconds to select each product and another 4 seconds to complete the check out process. If it takes 50 second to complete a transaction, how many products are being purchased?

The equation is 4 + 23x = 50

x = the number of items

4 + 46 + 50

50 = 50
