Distance Formula


d = \sqrt{(x_(2)-x_(1))^(2) + (y_(2)-y_(1))^2 }

(-2,-3) (2,1) Midpoint (2,1)


d = √((2--2)^2 + (1--3)^2) \\\\d = √((4)^2 + (4)^2\\) \\\\d = √( 32)\\\\d = 5.7\\

Then find the slope.

1- - 3 / 2 - -2 = 4/4 = 1
