Direct Variation. I think it's gonna be like this.

SInce Z is not inversely to y , its varies directly to both.

Then it's,

Z=kxy, where k is constant.

subst. Z=6,x=2 and y=6.

6=k×2×6

6=k×12=12k

6=12k=½

the formula connecting them is

Z=½xy

Z=½×3×8

Z= 1×3×8÷2

Z=24÷2

Z=12.
