Write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line that passes through (0,6) and (3, -3).

Answer:

y=-3x+6

Explanation:

(y-y1)=m(x-x1)

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(-3-6)/(3-0)

m=(-9)/(3)

m=-3

(choose whichever point for the first formula, i will be using(0,6))

(y-6)=-3(x-0)

y-6=-3x

y=-3x+6
