Why do you think citizens accepted and supported Hitler's racist beliefs and treatment of others?

Hitler had capital and power. Many of the citizens in Germany were afraid of what he could accomplish with those powers. He also punished anyone who seemed to defy him.

They were afraid of what would happen to them if they spoke out or disagreed. Imagine what he would do to the ones who disagree if you already know what he is doing to the jews
