(complementary angles

or

angles in a triangle are 180 so

180-(88+37)

180-125

Answer is 55 degrees. Literally ‘angles on a straight line’, which is 180 degrees total so if we minus 180 by 125 the we get 55 degrees. You can even cross check the answer by adding all 3 angles: 37+88+55(the angle which you just found) it will altogether add to 180 degrees.
