Since it's decreasing from left to right the first part of the equation (mx) is -#x. The second part of the equation (+b) will be +2 because the y-intercept is (0,2). If it were a negative # then it would be -7, or -4, or - whatever.

Now you have to find the slope. To find the slope simply do y1-y2/x1-x2 or y2-y1/x2-x1. Let's follow this equation. say that (2,-1) is 1 and (4,-4) is 2.
