Can some one explain what an arithmetic sequence is...?

Answer:

An arithmetic sequence is an infinately long set of numbers that increase by a certain amount(this amount is called the common difference) every number. for example, 1,2,3,4,5... is an arithmetic sequence with a common difference of one.
