Word problem: The longest snake ever in captivity was measured in 2011 the snake was found to be 25 feet, 2 inches long. how many inches long is the snake

302 inches

Explanation:

They asked you to find out the inches of how long is the snake and they told you the length in foot . All you need to do is to convert the length in feet to inches , and that's how you do it . We know that 1 foot = 12 inches . So we just multiply 25 by 12 which equals to 300 and then they said they have 2 inches as well , so we add those two to our answer which was 300 . 300+2=302 and now we have our answer which is 302 inches
