In order to calculate f(1/2) ,all we have to do

is replacing x by 1/2 in the expression of f.

Then


f\left( (1)/(2) \right) =\frac{\sqrt{2\left( (1)/(2) \right) +3} }{6\left( (1)/(2) \right) -5 }


=(√(1+3) )/(3-5)


=(√(4) )/(-2)


=(2)/(-2)


=-1
