Answer: A) 2 m^2
Explanation:
We know, the 2-dimensional cross-section is a Rectangle.
Length (l) = 2 m
Breadth (b) = 1 m
Area of the Cross Section = l * b
Therefore,
= lb
= l * b
= 2 * 1
=> 2
Area of the Cross Section = 2 m^2
