No, they are not similar because it is not possible to reflect triangle 1 and dilate it to coincide with triangle 2. ( option A)

Similar triangles are triangles with equal corresponding angles and equal side ratio. This means that the ratio of the corresponding sides are equal.

This ratio of this sides is called scale factor.

scale factor = 4/5

scale factor for the vertical line = 2/4

Therefore the ratios are not equal , thus the the triangles are not similar.

Therefore, No, they are not similar because it is not possible to reflect triangle 1 and dilate it to coincide with triangle 2
