Answer:

The stamp act was an act Britan put on the Colonies to pay off war debt. The stamp act put taxes on many common good like newspapers, pamplets, playing cards, dice and other paper goods. Colonist were very unhappy with britans rule so they boycotted alot if the taxed goods.
