so what you should do here is extend the line that passes through the 116 and 98 degree angle so that it passes the other parallel line.

It makes a triangle doesn't it

One of the angles is supplementary to 98, so 180-98 = 82 degrees.

Another one of the angles is the opposite angle to the supplementary angle of 116 (remember your line-intersecting-parallel-lines angles), therefore 180-116 = 64 degrees

The last angle of that triangle is the opposite to angle 4, and you can find that using the other two angles of the triangle we made earlier, which you get 180-82-64 = 34 degrees
